Love Me or My Sister?

            Those morning Yui read a novel, and suddenly Yui Jumped up gaiety when she heard the sound of Shanji’s motor cycle, entered her front-yard. Shanji is a friend of Nina, and Nina is Yuis sister She ran to the door and opened the door directly for her prince. Yui liked Shanji so much, cause he was cute, handsome, flexible, humorist, just Yui’s type. But she hided her felt about Shanji. She did not knew that he liked her or not.

“Uh Yui!! you are shoking me out, I guess you are a ghost. How are you today? Is Nina in the house?” Shanji asked when suddenly Yui’s face appeared from the back door. “oh...I am fine, yes, she is! But she is taking a bath, you wanna go with my sister? where?” Yui asked with little jealous.

“Of course honey…! We are going to go to a place, but I am sorry, child have not to know”, Shanji replied in smile. Called ‘honey’ by Shanji, she was so shy, although Yui knew that Shanji liked calling the person’s name ineptly.

“That she is Nina, well, we are go out! Good bye Yui...!”, Shanji said when he saw Nina already waited in the front of the door.

“ Yui...I am going to date, so, bye...” Nina said.

            Yui was jealous increasingly to her sister. Shanji is the Yui’s first love, so she did not willingly if Shanji did not date with her, moreover the rival was her own sister.

Yui was more jealous and irk to their behavior that day by day they are getting closer. Now, almost everyday Shanji carry out and pick up Nina. Everyday he calling and sending message to Nina too, that made Yui very irk, moreover their message look so intimatly, for example when he called “darling” to Nina. And every Shanji called Nina, Nina must quickly escape from Yui, Yui didn’t know what they was hided, but Yui getting annoyed.

            Two days later Yui was fourteen, Yui hope that there was someone give her a gift basket ball, because she want be tall, she had talked Nina and hope that she bought her, sometimes Yui imagined when her birthday coming, Shanji come to invite her to date with him, but she knew that it just imagine. “Oh, that is imposible”, she said while go out from her day dream.

Day by day felt so hard for Yui, she had tried hard to forget and hate about Shanji, but all was in vain, instead she loved Shanji more than before. But finally she was willing if Shanji and Nina had a date.

When she tried to sleep Yui’s handphone rang, that was a sign of incoming message.

“Uh..who the hell is it..? it’s too night, is there no tomorrow?”, Yui grumbled while she took her phone beside her. She got up from asleep when knew who is the sender, with excited she read word by word that was wrote by Shanji.

“Oh God...it is Shanji!", Yui said while she opened inbox in her handphone. “Good night Yui! I can not sleep, please accompany me, can you? You know that we seldom have communication. What are you doing Yui? Do you sleep? Please reply my darling Yui!”. Directly she was so happy when she read the last sentence although she knew that Shanji liked calling the person’s name ineptly. Directly feeling resentful to Shanji was lost.

‘Good night, I can not sleep too, ehm..do you have a date with Nina? You two are harmonious. I support you...but do not ever hurt my sister’, Yui replied like a flash of lightning. Then, message response from Shanji received, with excited Yui opened that message. ‘Oh God..! I have not a date with your sister, there is another girl in my heart, and Nina help me to do approach to this girl. Okay, let’s go to sleep, good night and do not forget to have a dream about me, have a nice dreams Yui!’ Shanji said. Yui so surprised, “Why is he say like that? Why is he did not send message to Nina?”, Yui thought with little surprised and she was so happy because she had messages like that from her prince. But Yui was shock when she knew there was another girl in his heart, but Yui more willing if Shanji has a date with Nina than with another girl. Yui’s expectation was already broke.

            One day later was Yui’s birthday, but she did not care about her birthday. She looked like lost of her passion of life. Her expectation was died, everything have been empty for her. And this morning Shanji sent two message to her just said good morning and asking Yui’s condition, but Yui did not care about his message. Then she turned off her phone while go to her room. Nina was confused with her sister. “What happened with her?”, Nina thought. Although Nina often made Yui feel annoyed. But actually she loved her sister so much.

“What happen with you Yui? Are you okay?”, Nina asked.

“Just never mind”, Yui replied.

“Are you sure? If there are anything you wanna talk to me, please say it!”, Nina said.

“Yes I am sure, I have nothing to say it”, Yui said.

“Finally the bad day is pass away, oh Fortune, why is my life so sad? Actually Shanji love me or my sister?”, Yui said in the window of her room. Usually one day before her birthday especially on weekend, she certain could not slept, she felt so happy, she smiled up to another that she meet, imagined about the gift, but this year was so different, cause Yui just had broken heart.

“I hope all of them are forget my birthday, include Shanji, I won’t meet him again”, Yui shouted sadly. The night just passed and Yui already slept without knew what happened on tomorrow.

            Exactly at 00.00 am, Yui’s handphone rang that a sign of a call, by a half of her soul still slept, she tried to reach her phone.

“Ouh.., do you know what time is it? Do you know I try to sleep? Do you have not a clock? Who the hell are you? Do not disturb me!”, Yui rattled angrily.

“Auch..I am so sorry if I disturb you, it is me, Shanji.”, Shanji replied. Yui’s heart like stop beating when she knew the person who she had grumbled was Shanji.

“Owh! Shanji! I am so sorry for grumble you, what is happening?”, Yui answered with regretful.

“I am so sorry too if I disturb you, I have something for you, can you look at the window for a minute?”, his call off. Yui followed and looked at the window there was a paper stucked behind the glass of the window, directly she ran while read the text on the paper ‘Happy birthday Yui, do you like it? Now I want you to go to front park!. By Shanji’. Yui remembered that those day was her birthday, and she did not suppose that Shanji made something to her. Yui run out the room quickly with convinced herself that if was not a dream. She was very happy that night. Her dreams came true. Finally Yui arrived in the back of the door and with excited she started to pull back the handle of the door, and the door was opened slowly, Yui was not calm to look what he did. And finally the door was opened. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUI...! shouted loudly and peace of papers received her. Both Shanji and Nina stood up in front of her with brought a big tart and decorated their garden with some colorful baloon. Yui still unbelief both Shanji and Nina did that thing at the night. Espacially Shanji, Yui very unsurveited that Shanji want to do that thing just for her.

“Happy birthday my dear sister! Do you like it?, I am so sorry if I disturb you”, Nina hugged Yui then she kiss Yui’s cheek.

“I love it so much..! thank you my sister..” said Yui with extremely happy.

“Happy birthday Yui, I am sorry just like it that I give to you. I hope that everything about you will be better than before, do not forget to keep healthy”, said Shanji while he hugged Yui. Yui felt so extremely happy, because she was hugged by her prince, Shanji.

“yes, of course, thank you Shan...it is my best birthday. Thank you so much”, Yui said happily.

Yui blew the fourteen form of candle and cut the first cake for her sister then the second cake for Shanji. And actually Nina gave Yui a novel under the tittle ‘The Da Vinci Code’, that is the novel she likes. And when she opened a gift from Shanji, Yui was very happy, a red basket ball at the box. Directly Yui take it off from the box and then she dribbled.

“Thank you Shanji, where did you know that I want it? Ow...I know...so for certain days you two have a secret for me? Thank you so much Gues...!”, Yui said.

“Nina tell me that you want a basket ball, actually tonight I want to tell you about who is the girl in my heart”, Shanji said. Yui’s heart felt so crowd, she convinced that the girl that mean was Nina, because the only girl except her. She had broked hard, actually that was right what she guess, the birthday that she think was the best birthday became execrable day. She wanted ran away from there.

“ Yui, are you okay?”, Shanji said while he look Yui keep silent.

“oh, never mind, I am okay. Who is your belove girl? I am sure that girl very lucky”, Yui said while tried arrest cried.

“Yui, actually the girl in my heart......”, he had not to finished his utterance.

“Isn’t Nina? Congratulation for you two Shan and Nina, you are a matching couple”, Yui said while she ran away from that place. She ran away from there, she did not want they knew that she cried, but both Shanji and Nina ran after Yui and finally he reach her hand.

“Yui, you are wrong, that girl that he mean is not me”, Nina said.

“Yui..the girl that always I love is you..!”, Shanji shouthed.

            Yui felt like attacked by thunder. She was confused, she still unbelief about what she heard. But in the other side, she was so happy.

“Yui!”, Shanji folded back Yui’s body, “Look! you are the girl in my heart, just you, I love you fo long ago, just always you in my heart, but I bury my feel about you, I am sorry about that, now I ask you, do you wanna be my Love?”, said Shanji. She still unbelief about it, but in her mind, he wanted to answer “yes I do” but she still doubt, because knew that Shanji liked joke.

“Shan, are you serious?”, Yui asked.

“Yes, of course Yui, I am serious, I know that I often make a joke but I am so serious for this”, Shanji answered.

“hhmmm...Actually... I love you too for long time ago, Shanji. So, yes, I wanna be your Love.” Yui replaid happily. Then I hugged Shanji with relief. Her dreams came true, Shanji invite her to date with him when Yui had a birthday.

“Cieee....congratulation for you two. Yui, do not be misunderstand before. Up till now, I help Shanji to approach to you. And I go out just to buy that ball. And now I am happy for you two”, Nina said happily.

“Yes I know Nina, just I am Sorry if I had jealous to you, and I hate you before this, but now I know that I was wrong. I love you so much, Nina”, Yui said.

“I LOVE YOU TWO”, Yui shouted.

The night pass more and more when they hugged, and Yui’s utterance “Love me or my sister?”, that was wrong. Congratulation for you Yui!.
